Dr. Thaana Ghalia is an experienced academic, researcher, and higher education professional with more than 15 years of teaching, curriculum development, and academic leadership experience across the UK and the Middle East.

She has taught at several universities and has extensive expertise in economics, finance, business, management, and research methods. Her work focuses on delivering practical, industry-relevant education that equips learners with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in today's global workplace.

Senior Foreign Journalist & International Media Professional, South Asia–based senior foreign journalist with over four decades of international experience since 1979, specializing in investigative and conflict journalism across Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Kashmir, West Asia, the Gulf, and Iraq. He has interviewed international leaders, policymakers, and senior decision-makers, developing extensive international media and diplomatic networks. Currently serving as President of the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of South Asia, New Delhi, for the third time, and President of the International Association of Press Clubs (IAPC). He also serves as Acting Secretary-General of IACCIA, representing 22 Arab countries.
